UNIT TITLE:
Deal, or get a Degree?
The big-screen image of drug-dealers is iconic: they're rich, dangerous, and lead outlaw lives. Drug dealing is represented in movies and TV shows as a lucrative, if risky career. College, on the other hand, often seems too expensive to be worth the ticket price - it's no guarantee of success, and the up-front cost compared to the payoff seems unreasonable.
In this unit, you'll look at real evidence about the monetary payoffs - and the chances of getting them - for both careers, and compare to figure out which is more worth the risk ... and which has the promise of a greater reward.
